Harlem, known as African America's capital city, is home to magnificent architecture from colleges, hotels and churches to lovely brownstones.
Its cultural treasures included the Apollo Theater and the Studio Museum of Harlem.
Former
President Bill Clinton, recognizing the area's new energy has located
his offices here. |

This is also the place for real soul food and soul music. World famous from the 20's to the 60's for jazz and Black American culture, Harlem is enjoying an economic revitalization that makes it a choice neighborhood again.

Our tour will meet at a chic new cafe for a light breakfast. We'll walk through the city's most vibrant and beautiful streets and visit ethnic food shops. There will be a special guided tour of the Apollo Theater, as well as stops at some of the landmarks of African American culture such as the Schomburg Center, the Abyssinian Baptist Church, and the elegant streets of Striver's Row.
The tour will conclude
