Gourmet Goodies May 28, 2001 Addie Tomei Dear Addie You are without a
doubt the best tour guide we have ever worked with. Gourmet Goodies has led
culinary tours to a number of food centres in North America and worked with a
number of tour guides and wholesalers. You were able, to put together an
itinerary of New York food and dining experiences which exceeded our
expectations and completely delighted our 27 tour participants. Feedback from all of
the participants indicates that you were able to provide the right combination
of tight/loose scheduling, interesting destinations, stimulating programs and
unique experiences. Your in-depth knowledge of the New York food scene and city
ensured that we saw the best of the various cuisines, retailers and producers
and met the people who make the city a centre for food excellence.
Is there anyone in the city that you don't know? It was clear through
the planning process that you have field-tested each recommendation and
location. Your attention to detail was exacting and you dealt with every issue
in a polite, accommodating arid good-humoured manner. No detail was too small
and no problem too big. Your plan was executed exactly as you expected there
there were no surprises when we arrived. Addie, we are very
appreciative of your personal hospitality to us and our group and thank you for
treating us so well. Hosting a
breakfast in your home was a big hit with the group and was a tangible
expression of your generosity and charm. We look forward to
