Sample Flatiron/Gramercy Park Itinerary

This elegant neighborhood which holds the most photographed edifice in the world--the Flatiron Building--has been home to many important figures in New York's history.

We begin with a guided tour of the childhood home of the city's only U.S. President,  Theodore Roosevelt.  At the heart of this beautiful home are its period rooms, restored to reflect their appearance between 1865 and 1872.   

 
A short walk from here, is quite another kind of "home"-- a store that is considered to be amongst the finest and most opulent home furnishing establishments  in the country.  ABC Carpet and Home is sure to impress.  If it concerns the home, you can find it at ABC.


On our way to lunch, we will walk through an area, famed for its noteworthy architecture and urban elegance.  Strolling past leafy Gramercy Park, take a moment to look at the graceful townhouses and elegant apartment buildings that give this area such undeniable 19th century charm.

At this point, you will have worked up a serious appetite, and we are ready for the fabulous lunch which has been especially prepared for us at a wonderful, well-known local restaurant.
