Brooklyn's Atlantic Avenue has long been a focal point for Arab groups in the area. Starting in the Civic Center area, we will take a brief walk through the stately historic district of Brooklyn Heights and enjoy a stunning view of the harbor from the promenade.

Then it's on to the Middle-Eastern shops that line Atlantic Avenue. Here in the markets, bakeries, stores and restaurants we will find a treasure trove of incredible baklava, freshly made pita, fragrant oils and essences, imported olives and many more culinary delights. 

Lunch will be enjoyed at an authentic Middle-Eastern restaurant serving the magical cuisine of the Fertile Crescent. 

*A walk over the Brooklyn Bridge back to Manhattan is an optional addition.
